All I want for Christmas
At school, Kaleb's teacher had them cut ads to make a Christmas wish list. To my surprise, he only cut one thing out, and sweet talked his teacher into making a bowling ball for his paper. These were the two things, the only things he asked for. When he visitied Santa he told him he wanted "a Mario game, and a blue bowling ball, and that's ALL!" Of course Santa brought him more presents, but these were the two things that meant the most to him! Christmas was a blast this year, he even tried to get mom to sit on the porch on Christmas Eve to "wait for Santa". We did for about 5 minutes and it got too cold and he quickly gave up! Oh, and can you tell he is learning how to write his name???

The best pictures are taken by chance
The day after Thanksgiving we had the chance to ride the Santa train. We have never been on a real train ride before, it was quite an experience. As we were walking from car to car, I was trying to take his picture, when he was distracted by the window, it turned out to be one of the best pictures of him, just by chance.
Thanksgiving is very mmmmmm.
We had Thanksgiving at Grandma's house, and the boys actually sat down and ate this year!
At school his teachers asked him questions about Thanksgiving and they recorded his answers in a book. Here are some of those questions.
The first Thanksgiving......"They had food to eat. Come on a boat the Pilgrams. The Ineans come on the boat too. Eat ham, huh, they have pumpkins to eat, and turkey, that's all."
What are you Thankful for....."For my baby I want to get. Him a boy. His name is Ian. Just me and my baby. He weighs heavy."
How do you cook a Turkey....."You can't cook a turkey cause it too big. I don't know what you do."

Best Buddies
Most Friday nights in the fall, Keith and Kaleb are found at Paul Brown tiger stadium. A long time family tradition in a big football town. Kaleb's favorite is the marching band. He enjoys spending time with his Dad, Papa, Uncle Brent, Aunt Dawn, & his cousin Jonah. Aunt Harriet and Uncle Dave are just a few rows up, and many other "regular" season ticket holders they have become friends with. Maybe someday Kaleb will be throwing a football, or marching out on that field!
Go Tigers!
My New BYU Shirt!
Mommy flew out to Utah by herself about a week after school started. Daddy was worried about mommy traveling alone, and Kaleb really wanted a new BYU shirt. The night mommy called home after a day of shopping, to let Kaleb know that the transaction had taken place, he yelled, "HEY DAD, MOM GOT ME A NEW BLUE BYU SHIRT!" It was the first time I realized he could say a whole sentence so clearly. Wow Kaleb, you've come a long way. I'm looking forward to many more conversations with you little man!Best Pals
Kaleb and I are "best pals". We are so lucky to get to spend so much time together. Afternoon preschool has really been a blessing for us this year. We get to sleep in a little, cuddle, watch cartoons, and take our time getting ready for school and work. After being off work for about six weeks, it was hard for Kaleb and daddy to let mommy go back. We really enjoyed our extra time together, but having surgery and getting the flu is no way to go about getting mommy to stay home from work!
