Kaleb has had a fun first year in primary. It was kind of hard for me to let him go since I was his nursery teacher. Having a peanut allergy makes mommy worry a lot! Kaleb has truly been blessed with a teacher who is a lot of fun, keeps him safe, and helps mom not to worry so much. On the way home from church I usually ask Kaleb, "What did you learn about in class today? " Here were his answers several weeks in a row.
"our hands"
"our bodies"
"Jesus"
"Jesus"
"probably Jesus"
I think I'll keep asking even if I already know what is answer will be.

Pioneer Day
We had a fun Pioneer day activity at our church this past weekend. Kaleb's cousin Rose helped him milk the cow, he went on a hayride with his best friends, Heber, and Kowen and hopped in his first "sack" race. We had lots of good food, daddy grilled some dogs, and we had a blast. We love our ward family and always have a good time when we are together.
I am a child of God
The other night I tucked Kaleb in for bed, and started to clean up the kitchen. I turned the monitor on and heard him singing,
"I am hmm hmm hmm, and he has ent me ear, diven me erfy home wif pawrents tind and deor, weed me dide me watt behide me help me find da way teach me all dat i mus do to wiv wif him humday." He sang it over and over and over, and I called Aunt Amy and Aunt Kathy and anyone else I could think of, to make them listen. I must give his primary teachers most of the credit for teaching him this song. I often sang it to him, but he does things for other people that I can't get him to do. I am happy that my son is learning about God and where he came from, and why he is here.
